Girls Talk: I LOVE ME: Why I love being a girl?I’m so glad to be part of the launching of Girls Talk hosted by Niko at Girls Rule ! This is the chance for us girls to express ourselves to the max! LOL! I haven’t appreciated much my being a girl on my elementary years. I wished I was a boy! It brought a chuckle to me everytime I remembered that innocent wishful thinking of turning myself into a boy. I wonder why I think like that before?…maybe because I’m surrounded with boys- three boys next to me and uncles. I always wear shorts and t-shirts back then and I love sneakers! I can only wear dress in going to church. I always wore super-short pixie cut that I look like a boy! My uncles will call me “junjun” instead of “Gengen”…LOL! It’s on my college days that I started to appreciate my being a girl. Here are some of my reasons: 1. the option to wear makeup- Makeup can serve two purposes: it can enhance a woman’s natural beauty or it can disguise those occasional flaws in our skin 2. I love having lots of dressing options and looking pretty. 3. more hair options- from short hairstyle to long hairstyle 4. having the “superpower” of being able to grow another life inside me, and produce the food to feed it too (you get what I mean?…) 5. I can close my eyes and flinch at a bloody war movie and no one will care and my hubby even think it’s cute….LOL! 6. I can wear pink all the time without being called a sissy. 7. I can act a little childish and it seems cute. 8. If I’m lost I could ask for directions and get lots of help . 9. Gets plenty of ego-stroking on message boards 10.Gets stuff for free from suitors…LOL! 11. Can get away with a lot of crap by using charm or flirting 12. Doesn’t have to work on finding dates or risk rejection 13. Doesn’t have to enroll on ROTC 14.I can cry and not get made fun of watching those sentimental “weepy” m0vies. I can be emotional and blame it on that time of the month. 15.I love being a woman as shopping is soooo much fun and I love the feeling of being girlie and feeling protected by a man. How about you? Why do you love being a girl? Join us and share us what you think at Girls Talk!

hi sis, love your answers lalo na un being protected by man. nahuli ako sa meme na ito …..pero ni post ko pa din GIRLS TALK
I used to dream that I was a boy when I was a small girl. I just didn’t write about it. I tried to pee while standing and yes I was sporting an apple cut hair (parang bao) for several years. But I’m also thankful that I’m a girl because I’m not sure if i’m capable of supporting my family just like what my hubby is doing faithfully to us.
Thanks for the visit Gene. By the way, pa-add naman po ako dito sa list mo. Na-add ko na ikaw.
Thanks! xoxo
