 Girls' Talk-My so-called "first date"Date? Isn’t this the time when you actually realized that you like that someone whose “chasing” after you (chasing you with flowers, candy, make poems for you and sing for your undivided attention)? I think the complete opposite happens. Hmmmm…I don’t have that experience where I’ve seen on TV where a guy asked me out for a dinner or movie, fetched me at home and send me home where he kissed me good night. Life in our province is so much different…We could already call it a date when somebody asked you for a snack after school and you go with him- eating your heart’s out for ensaimada and a bottle of diet coke because you’re hungry after a day’s work in the field. Yeah, you read it right, field. Taking Agronomy makes you “wed” the field- the rice field…LOL! You couldn’t expect somebody fetching you at home with four wheels…not even with two wheels! LOL! Watching movies together? Nope. Our city shut down the cinema theaters because of some reasons. I haven’t even experienced prom date! Waaaaaaaaahhhhh…I told you life in our province is much way different than yours. Prom celebration is only held in our school gym, not in a fancy restaurant. I do have a male partner during the ceremony but not a date actually coz after the ceremony he’s busy dancing while I stay with my girlfriends. Yeah, my high school life is somewhat boring when it comes to bf-gf thing because I’m damned determined not to give it a try until I finished college…LOL! Just forgive the “manang” attitude in me. College days come and I’m already in 3rd year when somebody fall for me. He would always ask me to drop by a certain bakery shop before heading home. I always said “NO”. I don’t want to have a “date” with him ( I told you it’s already a date for us when you’re seen dining out with a guy) and I don’t like him…period! There’s one time that I’m tired of his “begging” and I’m so hungry at that time that I agree with him..LOL! Yeah, I ate that ensaimada without reservation… :haha: I even see my J (my hubby now) passed by that bakery shop and he called out for my “date” (they’re classmates) You see, my first date happens accidentally (blame it to the growling tummy

that was a funny yet a memorable date. i also grew up in province and had the same teenage life as yours. mine is up too. happy GT!

so nice to be back here. bumigay ka sa ensaimada? hehehe. kakatuwa naman na classmates hubby mo and your first date! for sure, until old na kayo, pagkkwentuhan nyo pa din yan! my husband and I also have mutual friends kaya feeling namin, pagtanda namin, magkkwentuhan pa din kami about them.
