It’s my childhood dream to be a doctor or if not to earn a degree related to science or medicine. Though I end up being a teacher, I’m still dreaming of pursuing my childhood dream. In this era it’s not impossible to earn a degree even in the comfort of our own home. Thanks to world wide web :thumbsup: . Maybe two-three years from now I’ll enroll myself to a medical assisting school online. If I can’t be a doctor, then I’ll pursue to be a Medical assistant-certified or registered health care workers who perform the administrative and clinical tasks that keep the offices of licensed health practitioners running smoothly.
Through searching and reading, I found out that starting a lucrative career in the rapidly expanding health care industry doesn’t have to mean attending expensive medical schools and spending years of your life immersed in academia before earning a dime. Working as a medical assistant is a great way to get started in the health care industry quickly. You can easily begin work as a medical assistant with only a high school diploma. However, more and more employers are looking for individuals with a solid educational background in medical assisting to fill the many positions opening up in health care institutions across the country. This is the reason why I’m interested to earn an associates degree in medical assisting. It takes 2-years or less, and ensures better earning potential and career mobility. Many schools now offer students the opportunity to complete an associates degree with entirely online courses, making it easy for me to fit education around my schedule.
