“What? Isla Fisher is an ardent breastfeeder? Kate Beckinsale? Salma Hayek? Angelina Jolie? Julia Roberts? ” Those were my reactions when I found out that they’re religiously breastfeeding their children. Why I am that shocked? It’s because they’re able to do what I failed to do. It’s because in my mind I saw them too busy to commit for breastfeeding. It’s because that I assume that they stand no chance of building a milk supply because they’re way too busy getting back their sexy bodies back and begin to follow a strict diet. The discovery shocked me but on the other hand, I’m pleasantly surprised that many celebrities became advocate for breastfeeding. If they can breastfeed, why can’t I?
These celebs surely know how to increase breast milk production.
Salma Hayek confessed that she’s addicted to breastfeeding. The “Frida” actress, who gave birth to daughter Valentina in September 2007, has revealed she can’t bring herself to stop breastfeeding though the first two hours was tough and painful.
The voluptuous actress nursed a malnourished baby boy — who shares a birthday with her daughter — during a humanitarian mission to Sierra Leone. I’m not sure if I could do the same. She really has a big heart.
If someone as popular, sexy and beautiful as Angelina is breast-feeding her children, it inspires me to so myself .
Isla Fisher will only stop breastfeeding her daughter, Olive when she goes to university!
