We watched Hating-Kapatid last night while folding our clothes. This 2010 Filipino comedy-drama film produced and released by Viva Films never fails to give me a good laugh which I haven’t experience since last week…LOL! The film is about two sisters, Rica (Judy Ann Santos) and Cecil (Sarah Geronimo), and how the return of their Overseas Filipino Worker parents change their sibling relationship.
As always, I adore Judy Ann and Sarah’s acting talent, there’s no question about. There’s just one person in the film that makes my eyes fixated on her almost all the time. Guess who? It’s Gina Pareño! The last film I saw about her was the film “Kubrador” (The Bet Collector). She looked hefty and haggard in there but not in Hating Kapatid where she played as the sexy grandmother of Judy Ann and Sarah. She looked so glamorous and sexy! She really lost a lot of weight that even my hubby can’t help noticing it. Is she using supplements for weight loss? I’m really curious and I’m glad to find http://chuvachienes.com talking about the fact of her weight loss. She didn’t take any weight loss supplements. Apparently, she enrolled at Dr. Manny and Pie Calayan’s weight loss and beauty enhancement program.
