Shopping on Cyber Monday

Remember my last post about my desire to award myself a pink ipod nano? Now I know where I could get it in reasonable price. I’ll wait for Cyber Monday deals! For those who are not familiar yet with the marketing term-cyber monday, let me enlighten you. Although Cyber Monday is not the biggest shopping day of the year, it is one of the busiest for online retailers. Cyber Monday, which is a name for the Monday following Thanksgiving, is a term that was coined by Shop.org last year. Shop.org is a division of the National Retail Federation. Shop.org did not, however, create the phenomenon of Cyber Monday. It merely gave a name to the shopping phenomenon that is twin to Black Friday. On Cyber Monday, online shoppers have access products of nearly 400 online retailers who are offering special promotions. Expect to see huge discounts on computers (laptops, netbooks, desktops), televisions, cameras, gaming, home theatre and other categories normally only discounted this high on Boxing Day. Some deals may also carry over into Cyber Week sale. The Cyber Monday Sale starts on November 29th at 12:01AM EST. I can’t wait to shop for my pink ipod nano on Cyber Monday!
