Blogging is one of the easy ways to make money online. You could monetize your blog and it can bring in a decent income that will keep on coming even on the days when you don’t update your blog. I made this post specially for my friends whom I encourage to start blogging and enjoy earning. Here’s what you should do:
1. It’s ok to start setting your blog on free site like wordpress and blogger to get the hang of it but it’s much better to set up your own blog under your own domain name if you really desire to monetize it in the near future.
2. Choose good theme and layout for your blog which I could personally help you- an offer I could only extend to my friends here. There are thousands of templates available for you to use – a simple search on Google will reveal the ones that will be best suited to your topic.
3. What to blog? Start blogging blog about your life in general- your job, hobby, food, about your kids and what it’s like to be a parent ! Whatever you choose to blog about it needs to be something you are passionate about. Don’t forget, you are going to be writing about this topic several times a week, and if you don’t have the enthusiasm for it, that will show in your posts – and no one else will have the enthusiasm to read them.
4. After a month or three on posting to your blog on a regular basis, the next step is to build links. Visit other blogs, make friends with them, exchange links with them, leave comments with your name and link and join memes. These could help generate traffic to your site.
5. Register your blog to websites which give you the opportunity to get paid for each blog post you make on a specific subject. Payu2blog and Sponsored Reviews are two such examples that I could recommend, and they will pay you a certain amount of money to review a product or website for the owner.
I’m still on learning process on making money online . So far, I earned over $1000 since I started monetizing my blog last year.
