Whether you like it or not, Ugg boots are popular since they hit the shelves. Personally I think they are called Ugg boots solely because they are UGLY. Sure they are a cute little fashion statement if worn with the right outfit. However, they are not cute when worn with sweatpants tucked into them. They are not cute when worn with see-through nightie-style dress and trilby hat like what Britney Spears did but as long as she’s happy and healthy, what this girl wears no longer bothers me. She’s been through too much to care about this now. She looks like she’s on a well deserved break.

Though Ugg boots still look super ugly and tacky to me, that is about to change as celebrities have made Ugg boots fashionable in the US and across the world. Kate Hudson, Pamela Anderson and Sarah Jessica Parker embraced them wholeheartedly. This led to the rise in the popularity for the boots. This created a lot of demand for the boot fashion. Some of the Ugg boots have also been made from kangaroo fur and leather as well. But the true Ugg shoes are styled from sheepskin. It has now become almost a trend to gift the Ugg shoes as a Christmas gift or for a special occasion. The shoes can be priced between $100 – $400.
Seeing Katie Holmes wearing a dress with UGG slippers gives me an idea that you could use UGG slippers not only when wearing jeans or shorts, you could also rock them on dress!
I never thought that classic Ugg boots are fun for beach until I saw them on Pamela Anderson. I’m sure lots of girls will soon to follow this trend .
What do you think of Jessica Parker’s look?I don’t really like her pants but I have to admit that the studs are AMAZING. The Ugg boots look a little strange with the rest of her outfit, but that headband is amazing in a Blair Waldorf way.
