God is everywhere but not in your phone

While preparing our breakfast this morning, I opened our TV to listen to Channel News Asia. There I knew that the Vatican has given its approval for a new “Confession” application for Apple iphone 4, iPad and iPod Touch. But though the Vatican approved this “Confession” application, there are still priests who think that it’s purely stupidity to make confessions on phone. There is a question of sincerity on that act . There is a huge difference between confessing trespasses in front of the priest compared to confessing on phone.

I’m not a Roman Catholic and we didn’t practice confessing our mistakes in front our minister. We turn directly to God to confess our wrongdoings . Confession isn’t just telling God what we’ve done, He already knows. It’s agreeing that it’s wrong and asking forgiveness. God can’t heal what we won’t reveal or cleanse what we won’t confess. When my tears of repentance meet Christ’s forgiveness, I lose my guilt and find new joy! That’s how we do our confessions.

That’s why one of the interviewee commented that he won’t use this “confession” application. “God is everywhere but not in your phone”, he concluded. What’s your say about this?
