What is considered plus-size? Plus size to me, is larger than an XL. So size 1X and up. I think an XL is about a size 14 as well so perhaps size 16 and up would be considered plus size in numerical sizes. What do you think? I’m interested to hear what others have to say. However, if you are talking couture or high end lines like Chanel, Dior, Prada, etc, then I think they consider anything double digits to be plus size, so size 10 and up.
If you’re labeled as “plus-size”, “full figure” or “fat”, it doesn’t mean that you can’t be fashionable at all. With more than half the population now considered to be plus size, things are starting to change-designer jeans, trendy urban clothes and magazine models for plus sizes are just now becoming mainstream.
