Feminine Androgyny

My sister and I joined Lookbook.nu two weeks ago . It’s a site for fashion bloggers, pretty girls and boys loving fashion and for all who like showing themselves with outfit. It’s a place where you can have fashion inspiration from real people around the world. It’s a place where you are free to post a look  – you can also post a look- casual , formal, retro, bohemian any any looks you can think of and not be judged as having narcissistic personality disorder…he..he… We joined this site simply for fun.

For my 5th look, I named it “feminine androgyny” in giving empasis on how women can pull-off a look from ultra-masculine to confidently feminine in wearing a bow tie:

The simple ensemble of light pink long sleeve shirt and tweed trousers feels less masculine with a bow tie and pink-soled heels. So far, this photo earned 27 LIKEs from my friends in Facebook but it makes me shy. It’s more comfortable for me if my friends didn’t notice the look..he..he…Weird me…huh?

Methinks, how lucky women are because we can make a fashionable look while wearing bow ties, neckties, suspenders and wingtips than it is for a man to sport a skirt or a dress! Let’s all give a cheer for this one instance of the double standard!
