I get this sexy laced LBD from a boutique near our school for only $20! I chose this because I wanted to get playful with sexy lace and an ultra-mini hem underneath. For my accessories, I kept them simple- black flower-shaped with a little white rhinestone, black bracelet and rings. Overall, it’s a Less-Is-More Look!

…we traveled back here in Thailand. It doesn’t mean I haven’t celebrated the day I turned 30. I celebrated it in different occassions few days before we travel. Have I dreaded age 30? I embraced it with a smile and some fantastic memories. I didn’t moan about my age. I only moan how much weight I gained during our vacation that if the best diet pills that work is just around the corner, I surely grab some just to look skinny again.

One of my goals this year as I reached 30  is to lose weight by hook or by crook…LOL!

Once in a blue moon, I wear dress and high heels in school. After several weeks of just wearing our usual T-shirt and black trousers combo, I tried to give color of the day. I wore my purple dress paired with my brownie 4 inches Carla Berotti platform high heel shoes. I reckon that this pair of shoes will be perfect for my skinny ripped jeans. That would be for my next post.

I sure received lots of compliments from my co-teachers but was soon felt sour when one of them began to ask if I’m preggy! Sucking in my tummy on that day didn’t do any good- the Buddha belly makes me uncomfortable for the rest of the day. If only I could have a flatter tummy the outfit will go perfect for the rest of the day. You know what, if I want to lose weight faster and attain firmer tummy I could take hydroxycut- clinically proven weight loss with a powerful, well-researched primary ingredient complex that can help lose more weight than when dieting alone. But before I’ll take it, let me first get my diet right and do exercise as often as possible. Let’s see after a month if there’s any improvement. As I told you, we’re eyeing for a car that we can’t afford…not yet. The small monthly payment it requires doesn’t mean low cost over all as we carefully calculate the liabilities it will incur in terms of monthly payments, interest, taxes, insurance like every small or big charge. A friend offered his friend’s old car. It’s cheap and affordable but it needs repainting and change of body kits . A bodykit or body kit is a collection of exterior modifications to a car, typically composed of front and rear bumpers, side skirts, spoilers, and sometimes front and rear side guards and roof scoops. There are many companies that offer alternatives to the original factory appearance of the vehicle. Body kits components are designed to complement each other and work together as a complete design. AS for my hubby, bodykits are not only peripheral or incidental parts. They are as essential a part as any other part of the vehicle. They are required for all types of vehicles, whether it be a modest car or a luxury car, a heavy truck or a mid-sized pick up or a smaller one, or a sports car. The power generated by the engine of the vehicle pulls the car. The vehicle encounters friction on the road. The atmospheric air through which the vehicle moves also exerts some pressure on the car. The spoiler tends to keep the vehicle firmly on the ground. Its tendency to go up is reduced. The pulling power of the engine is better utilized that way. If the vehicle is required to take a sudden turn the body kits lessen the adverse impact of that. Bumpers contribute to safety of the passengers in the car and also protect the vehicle.

There are many points to consider before we’ll actually step foot on the lot. Buying a car is different from other purchases since it is considerably more expensive and we can’t just browse around until we find something that strikes our fancy. Going in blind and ignorant can cost a quite a bit of green. On the other hand we’re saving for a greater project-a project for a brighter future. Our car could wait.

The good thing about creating a visual diary like posting your daily outfit, work wear or Sunday wear is for you to be able to see yourself through a small screen if you’re gaining weight or not! For me, I’ve noticed that I’m gaining weight again. The pictures confirm that I’m getting “chunkier” and “thicker” (as hubby describes me)…lol! I have to deal with it. I don’t have the same sleek and slim body that I had ten years ago. Time, gravity, and pregnancy all take their toll on my body.  I’ll be 30 this summer and I’m exploring on mixing my mature body with fashions obviously made for a younger person,do you think it looks ok? As long as I’m comfortable with it and no protest from hubby, I could strut the street with held up high…he..he…

The grey flat shoes is a great find! This is the best option I had to swoop with my high heels whilst at work or on going to church carrying a toddler. The shoes look great in ultra casual outfits like jeans, trousers or even dress. These ballerina flats are very functional that it could work as my weekend and work shoe. Though they are flats, they still look so sexy.

I received compliments while wearing this outfit to church. They said we (that includes hubby) look just like teenagers. It’s just like we’re older siblings of Hyzyd (our son)…LOL! Methinks, I should wear outfit like this every Sunday so that I always received such inspiring compliments…LOL! It’s just that getting older for me means getting wiser in all aspects of life including the way I dress. Like a fine bottle of wine, life became tastier as the years go by. So I don’t have the same body as those twenty-somethings I see in magazines or on TV. So what? I just like to re-live puberty and strive to lose weight without starving myself…LOL! I just have to remember the “3 C’s” when I dress: clean, classic, and coverage.

Covering appropriately is the key to dressing gracefully. I’m always like this even in my younger years. I prefer short sleeves instead of going sleeveless, modest necklines instead of plunging necklines and stockings help regain composure if you want to explore on wearing shorter skirts without getting conscious of how your legs look like. I recommend that you’ll invest on a good pair of Magic Knickers to give you instant slimming results, make your clothes hang better on you, and to boost your confidence .

“A woman has the age she deserves,” Coco Chanel once said. You don’t have to go under cover and dress “like a little old lady” just because that’s what your mother or grandmother did. You’re your own person.

I used to think that once you’re married and already in late twenties, fashion is not for you. I admit I was wrong especially after watching Trinny & Susannah Undress the Nation . It’s a British reality fashion-themed television documentary series on ITV featuring fashion advisors Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine. This reality show explores some of the major fashion problems in Britain. Numerous eye-catching stunts were filmed for the first series of the show in order to emphasize the points raised by Trinny and Susannah. It’s through this show that I learned that the older you get, you should to know there will be always good times to live. Love life and appreciate the beauty that comes with age. In choosing my fashion, I wear what I feel comfortable in and makes me happy. Most of all, I’m challenging myself to get rid of my pounds, my muffin tops that make life harder for me. I believe that having a balanced body will increase my overall power, strength and speed. Just like what Victoria and Lauren said, “trying to be more unique will make you more fashionable outside. But try not to stand out so much”. Let me leave that word to you.

As for Fashion Explorer, this blog needs some revamp on the way it post. I need to add some posts about my personal fashion exploration. I’m not the total package of a fashionista but I do love to explore, to dress up and to doll up occasionally. All I need to do is to capture those moments, post them here and let’s see what you can say.

Let’s start on my exploration on wearing red pumps. I never ever had red pumps. I owned 2 pairs of red sneakers before but never in my mind occurred that I would ever buy red pumps. The reasons? I couldn’t wear red pumps all the time. I don’t want to waste my money on something I could only use for one time only. I buy things that will serve me anytime. Red pumps for me could only be used on weddings which I’m invited once in a blue moon or on Christmas parties which I seldom attended because I rather stay at home.

Before year 2010 ends, we’re invited to join the OFEST (Organization of Filipino Expatriates in the South of Thailand) Christmas Extravaganza. It’s the only time of the year that we could dress up beyond normal…LOL! It’s the only time of the year that we could be at best-gorgeous make-up , new dress, shoes and accessories. I decided to wear the dress I bought 2 years ago in one of the boutiques here in Hatyai City which I’ve never had the chance to wear. It’s the only time I decided that I need to explore on red pumps!

What I like about it is that it looks good on my feet when I viewed on the mirror so I believe that when other look at my shoes they’ll appreciate it too..he..he…I forgot to take a closer look of the heels, it’s velvety. It may be the reason why that it costs a bit higher than I expected.  I usually bought shoes for only 299 baht ($9.87) but this one is 499 baht ($16.47). Hubby commented that maybe they lifted the price when they knew that I’m not a Thai:(. Anyway, it’s hubby’s gift for me so I don’t think much about the overpricing…he..he…I’m just so excited to wear red pumps on my 29th year!

I was torn between wearing a cardigan over to hide my flabby arms or not.

I finally decided to just enjoy the night without worrying about my flabby arms and just try to look pretty. I just do my own make-up so it’s naturally me…he..he…I don’t even take time to style my hair. I just throw it on pony tail-the easiest hairstyle on earth! For the accessories, I wore the same  swarovski dangling earrings and bracelets that I wore on my wedding day 3 years ago. I don’t put on necklace because my dress is already glittery with it’s sequence that wrapped around my waist and my chest. If you take a closer look, there’s actually a sequence bow at the bust area.

By the way, what do you think is the color of my dress? I think it’s “dried rose color”. How about you? Let’s talk about my dress. Could it be among the Lace Party dresses you know? So that’s it, my first exploration on red pumps. I’ll feature next time that red pumps could also be used on casual days and even sporting it in school.

Unfortunately, when I wear it  it’s TOO high-waisted. It should sit right around my natural waist but in my case it became like a like a push-up bra to me! Is it because my hips is wider and that makes me and the pencil skirt simply not made for each other? I just sigh and decided to give my newly-bought high-waisted skirt to a skinny friend (who looks to be taking the Most effective diet pills for women because of her sexy body that rocks!) . I’m sure , she’ll wear and own the look. I already accepted the fact that I don’t own the look and wearing them will only bound me to appear as awkward as I feel.
