Demi Lovato  sat down with Ellen DeGeneres last September, and not only did she perform her hit single “Skyscraper”, but she candidly discussed her trip to rehab and gave a message to other young girls struggling with eating disorders.

On her “meltdown”:

“It was called a mess. I don’t know what to really call it but yeah, I’ve called it a break down, a melt down. I went from being at the highlight of my career. Having a movie about to come out or just come out and being on this tour. Having so much success. So many things were going great in my life and then all of the sudden my personal life just went down at crazy speeds. I had a negative break down and it changed my life forever but I’m glad that it did because if I had never gone into the treatment. I don’t know if one, I’d even be sitting here today. Two, if I’d be alive today.”

Demi’s advice to young girls battling weight issues:

“One of thereasons why I became so out spoken when I decided to come out of treatment and talk about my issues was because when I grew up and I was dealing with the pressures to be thin. It was the time in the tabloids when very, very skinny girls were on the cover of every magazine and that’s what I was looking up to. That’s what I had to idolize. I don’t want that for young girls to idolize … There was nobody out there for me to look at and say, maybe this is unhealthy. Maybe starving myself isn’t the answer. So I want to be that for a 13-year-old girl at home deciding whether or not to eat dinner or an 18-year-old deciding whether or not to keep her breakfast down. There needs to be a role model out there and for the first time in my life I actually feel like one.”

Here’s her latest album “Skyscraper” in which she sings about “coming back stronger than ever”. She first recorded the track almost a year ago during the peak of her problems and when her voice was much weaker, claiming she “ruining it by damaging it after every meal”.

This is such a beautiful poetic song. Skies are crying? This means it’s raining. Raining means the end of sunshine a.k.a happiness. Catching teardrops in hand? Means the rain makes her sad. Only silence as it’s ending? There’s nothing left to say. She has given up. As the smoke clears? She can see clearly now all is revealed. Untangle you from me? She was caught in his web. All my windows still are broken? Very unhealthy relationship that has broken the windows of her heart. Home is where it is. So inspirational…she has been through so much and I give her so much credit!

Upon seeing Courtney Cox’s photo at zimbio.com with walking cane, the first thing that came to my mind is a querry if that walking cane is one of the fashion Walking canes I saw on TV. You see, nowadays not all people with walking cane means that they’re old, blind or had walking problems. Walking canes or sticks make a stylish and beautiful fashion accessory! Someone as beautiful as Courtney Cox with a walking cane surely gets my attention. The question now, is she using it as fashion accessory or a walking aid?

It turns out that Courteney recently underwent minor knee surgery, but is already back to work! Producers say that the cane will even be written in of the episodes of Cougar Town. Get well soon, Courtney!

Jennifer Hudson (I’ve seen her first in “Dreamgirls”), an american recording artist, actress and model  gained double weight during pregnancy (that’s the case of most preggies, I’ve been there too) , but the she got rid of all her weight and Hudson gives all the acknowledgment to Weight Watchers organization which assisted her to lose weight. Weight Watchers is an international company that offers various dieting products and services to assist weight loss and maintenance. Founded in 1963 by Brooklyn homemaker Jean Nidetch, it now operates in about 30 countries around the world, generally under names that are local translations of “Weight Watchers”. The core philosophy behind Weight Watchers programs is to use a science-driven approach to help participants lose weight by forming helpful habits, eating smarter, getting more exercise and providing support.

Hudson made it on on a national advertising campaign with Weight watchers as a result. Weight Watchers official website profiled Hudson’s weight loss program.The 28-year-old packed on 20 pounds to play her Oscar-winning role in Dreamgirls, but she wasn’t happy with her new body. She said on Good Morning America, “After I had the baby, I made up my mind that I wanted to go in a different direction and find a better lifestyle. I decided to do Weight Watchers.”

In less than a year the 28-year-old Hudson has gone from a size 16 to a size 6. The ‘real’ secret behind her success is that the Oscar-winning actress has found a plan that fits into her hectic lifestyle and doesn’t deprive her of anything. Hudson says, “I can follow the plan no matter where I am, still enjoy my favourite foods and even use the iPhone app to track my points.”

Although Jennifer didn’t put on a huge amount of weight when she was pregnant it was still enough to give her a start when she saw a photo of herself ‘post baby’. “I didn’t realize it was me, she said. “I was like, ‘Who?… Oh, my God, this is me.’ And now when I look back, wow, look at the difference from then to now.”

Hudson states that although she has always been happy with her curvaceous figure after she gave birth to her son she felt like she wanted to take control of her body and her eating habits and says that this is a “lifestyle change, not a diet.”

As well as a change of eating regime Hudson also hit the gym five times a week. She has, however, assured her fans that she has no intention of becoming a ‘lollipop head’. “I don’t want to lose any more weight, and you’re never going to see me skinny, I think this is a good, natural size for me.”

She has recently signed on to be the new spokesperson for Weightwatchers and unveiled a national campaign at a press conference in New York, where she revealed that her fiancé David Otunga, an American professional wrestler, has been inspired by her weight loss journey and some of her new habits have started to rub off on him. “Now he’s in the habit of writing down what he’s eating,” she said. “He’s doing weigh-ins. He’s super healthy, and he’s a bodybuilder type, but he is inspired by it.”

Isn’t her story inspirational, is it? It’s time to combine my knowledge about dieting with efforts.

She mentioned during the ANTM’s casting that she’ll be the first black plus size model to be in the cover of Italian Vogue and it’s materialized. In 2009, she was photographed by Steven Meisel for the July, all black issue of Vogue Italia and had a 14 page spread in the magazine. The “Black Issue” featured significant past and current black models in response to the “black out” of black models preventing them from getting hired for print and runway jobs.

The once voluptuous Tocarra Jones from America’s Next Top Model went from a size 14 to 4! How did she do that? Some think that maybe she’s taken the most effective diet pills in the world. There’s a possibility on that but she claimed and witnesses agreed that her workout paid off. In fact, she has released her own work-out DVD called Toccara’s Fabulous Work-Out for Real Size Women. The work-out DVD is a program for the everyday woman who wants to exercise but have a good time doing it. The program consists of 30 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of sculpting techniques for the arms, legs, and abs.

Some loved her slimmed down. Some preferred the thick and sexy Tocarra. Perhaps the fact that she has signed with Wilhenmia Models and has an exercise tape has caused the sudden weight loss. She looks great and she still has ample breasts. She would do extremely well now as a Video Vixen. I just hope that Miss Jones can keep the weight off and doesn’t gain the weight back like Crystal Reen did because of the pressure of being skinny.

So which would you prefer, the THICK Tocarra or the THIN Tocarra? I love the thin one.  She’s an inspiration to follow…if somebody as thick as she was able to slim down, why can’t I?

For me who doesn’t have millions, I settle with presents that delight and have meanings . They don’t have to be big and expensive. I could give expensive gifts if ever I could have additional income. To have extra income, maybe launching an eCommerce business would be a great idea-selling products online or selling on ebay. But before that I need to choose the right professional ecommerce web hosting provider. How I wish I could find a dress like hers to grace the Christmas party we’ll attend on December (crossing my fingers to get slimmer like her). Look at that pumps! The platform pumps complete her and knowing that it’s YSL it may cost $850-$1000! I’m dying to own one pair of pump shoes from YSL but it’s beyond what I could afford (I could avail payday advance loans if I really want a pair of those fantabulous pumps but it’s not a wise decision, I know). The benefit of owning one of those expensive YSL pumps, you can walk, dance, and stand on them for a good 3 hours before you feel the pinch!

I wonder when I could have YSL pumps? I hope it will not be after 40 years…LOL!

She announced that she is 4 months along in AUGUST…this means that she was 4 months in August, it’s now November she is probably 7 months and her baby is due in January. I just don’t understand women posing nude for magazines. A picture like this, (pregnant) should be left to her and Orlando’s eyes only. It’s a beautiful picture but why show her body to the entire world? Because she CAN? Because a magazine is going to pay her lots of money for the photos? Because the photos are tasteful and beautiful and something she can treasure forever? Well, it’s her choice and who am I to judge.

I got to admit that the photo is very tasteful and stunning. Some says that she’s too skinny for a pregnant woman. She looks skinny because she IS thin/skinny. She’s a model! So long as she eats healthily , take prenatal one multivitamin and has gained enough for a healthy baby, that’s all that matters. If she went from being a skinny model to being a fat pregnant woman, that wouldn’t help either her or her baby…lol. It makes me laugh how many people think they know how thin or heavy Miranda Kerr should be while pregnant. We are so used to fat pregnant women, that a beautiful healthy pregnant model evokes criticism. If Kerr’s arms and face plumped up, it wouldn’t make for a healthier pregnancy.

Isla Fisher was one of the celebs I featured here that ardently breastfeeding their babies. And you know what, she and her hubby Sacha ‘Borat’ Cohen had a second child since last late August or September! I’m sorry I couldn’t really give you the exact date because these couples kept their private lives private and that what I love about this couple. I didn’t see any press releases about this second baby and the gender of the baby hasn’t been mentioned either! Isla and Borat simply surfaced with a new addition to the family in style.
