1. Great Looking Business Shoes. For working moms like me, we need to have a special pair of smart shoes for work. These should look great, and match well with our suit. Mine is black shoes with medium size heel, to make me look taller and in control, but still comfortable enough to wear all day.

First time to join this Beauty is skin Deep meme and the topic , shoes to go, is very timely coz I just bought a new ILLUSION blue peep-toe heel which I wore to a wedding last night.

It’s my first time explore on shoes in neon color instead of just brown or black. I just fell in love the moment I laid my eyes on it’s sparkling color. I can’t forget how my heart beats rapidly when the sale lady informed me that it’s offered at 60% off from it’s 1,950 baht original price. The moment I slipped on my feet and touch on it’s soft sole, I heard myself telling the sales lady that I will get it .

I wore it last night and you’ll be the judge if I nailed it…LOL!

This shoes is worth the investment. I usually got ankle blisters and my feet burn the first time I wore new shoes but this one is different. It’s so friendly to my feet and I could wear them for the whole day!  It’s indeed my shoes to go on this season.

I’ve found them to be unforgivably ugly, not stylish because of those massive, bulbous soles and discouraged her from actually buying a pair for herself but you know what my fashion-conscious friend told me that this unconventional walking shoe has generated buzz for soothing joints, toning abs and supposedly slaying cellulite. Now that silenced me and makes me wonder if the fitness benefits of these leg-toning shoes a trumped up marketing claim, or are they really weight loss miracle workers? If they could really sooth joints, tone abs and shoos fats then I want one, pronto!

If I haven’t got married, maybe I’m still on collections of shoes in different shades of colors to match my outfit . It’s better now that “that habit” was abruptly stopped before our garage will be filled with shoes! :haha: My hubby is always pestering reminding me to give all my shoes and sandals which I haven’t used for so long so that others may benefit. Yes dear, I already gave some and don’t worry after my “shoes presentation” here, I give them all so that you’ll buy me new pair of shoes! :upsidedown:

Flat Shoes

Stomping around in heels all day long is hard for a preschool teacher like me.  And it’s not even good for me.  I choose some flat shoes, some which look totally casual or rather serious (think Kate Moss trotting around London.)  With flat shoes I never have to bandage a high-heel-induced blister again.

High heels (boots, sandals, shoes)

Wearing high heels can be very fashionable and may make me feel taller, but at what price? I already suffered tightening of my Achilles tendon and swollen ankle which makes me hesitant to wear my high heels again :nono: .

My weekend sandals

I wore my weekend sandals  for getting me around sidewalks without getting stuck and are usually quite dressy in their design.

Naturalizer sport sandal and Ipanema flip flop

My Naturalizer sport sandal is given to me by my father after I gave birth to Hyzyd.  It’s comfortable to be used for hiking and other activities. My Ipanema flip-flops is a gift from a friend and this pair is best reserved for the beach or around the house only.

Special occasion sandals

A very dressy occasion or a wedding call for my special occasion  sandals.

DKNY and Sktchers sneakers

I usually used sneakers on Fridays coz our uniform requires them.

As we all know footwear, or shoes, are items that are worn for three basic reasons: decoration, support and protection, although not all types of shoes serve every purpose at once. I have these shoes in my possessions  for I want them rather than I need them. I just can’t be contented of having only two pairs of shoes…I’m sorry… It’s a nice feeling to see lots of shoes in our shoe rack :haha:

Tip for today:

It is wise enough to have your shoes properly organized. Putting them in pile inside your wardrobe or under the kitchen table is not a good idea. It is best to keep them all separate and well conditioned. Also make sure there are no direct sunrays hitting your footwear. Remember that if you take care of your shoes the way needed, they will serve you for many years to come, and every time you put them on will be a pleasant and comfortable experience.
