Seriously, there’s so much to do on my break. Aside from household chores and family responsibilities, I got to tend to our online shop , my blogging career (got lots of e-books to be reviewed!) , celebrations- wedding anniversary and birthday and more! I need to do what I supposed to do! My situation reminds me of a story:

One day an ox said to a mule, ‘Let’s pretend to be sick.’ The mule said, ‘No, we need to get this work done.’ The ox feigned illness, and the farmer brought him fresh hay. When the mule came in from ploughing, the ox asked how things went and the mule said, ‘All right.’ The ox asked, ‘What did the farmer say about me?’ The mule replied, ‘Nothing.’ The next day the ox pretended to be ill again. When the mule came home the ox asked, ‘How did it go?’ The mule said, ‘All right.’ After a week of this, the ox asked, ‘Did the farmer say anything about me today?’ The mule replied, ‘Well, he said nothing to me personally, but he stopped and had a long talk with the butcher!’

Understand this: you were born to fulfill a divine purpose. When you don’t, there are consequences, both here and in eternity.

The summer that I won’t forget is this year because we got the chance to visit Philippines!

First let me drop you at Hachiban Ramen Restaurant . It’s a  Japanese Restaurant on the main floor of Carrefour Department store. They offer affordable and nutritious Japanese cuisine.

If I’m going to rate , It’s 10 out of 10. The food is superbly nutritious and delicious. The price is worth what you ordered. I think we only pay about $5 for the food and drinks. The customer service is excellent and the place is quite cozy and clean.

Next stop is at Santa Fe Steak House.

The starter- Mushroom cream soap is only $2.16 (65 ThB)

The main course-beef steak with Italian sausage is only $4.30 (129 ThB)

Apple with soda is only $1.50 (45 ThB)

It’s really nice to have a glass of cold apple with soda drink after a meal. Yeah, I know it’s not a healthy practice. The cold drinks will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed . It will slow down the digestion. Once this ‘sludge’ reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats . It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. No wonder I’m getting fat and badly needed Lipofuze to burn my fats. Pronto!

For beauty products, I usually shop at Tops Supermarket. They have beauty products section over there and it’s always present on my list the Johnson’s body care product specifically the Melt-Away Stress Daily Calming Lotion, body wash and powder. I usually use them at night because of its AROMASOOTHE that helps melt away daily tension and promote better rest at night.

In Tops Supermarket, they also have nail products and hair accessories. They’re of good qualities and affordable too.

For facial cream, I use Pond’s Visible Lightening Day Cream and Re-Brightening Night Treatment.

For lipstick, I shop at Sheene Beauty Products store. I love how it keeps my lips moisturized the whole day.

My shopping share for:

Hyzyd’s milk, diaper , ironing fabric starch, laundry soap, fabric conditioner and dishwashing liquid come first in my grocery list and we’ll buy them in bulk, good to last for a month.

In weekly basis, we usually have a loaf of bread, a pack of toasted garlic bread, a can of Skippy Peanut butter , a pack of 3-1 Birdy Robusta coffee, Hyzyd’s flavored milk in tetra-pack, meat, fruit, vegetables , egg, cheese and others.

In shopping, I stick to our weekly budget. I also use store savings cards. These can add up to big savings over the long run.

I always have with me red pens because I always check workbooks!

I use my red shawl for added warmth (and fashion) in going to school because I go there by motorcycle. I also use this when I wear dress where a jacket might be inappropriate.

My 10 oz. Xpress Ceramic Tumbler from Moccona Cofee. This all ceramic double walled insulated tumbler is the latest “must have” for the coffee drinker on the go. Lid is silicone and fits snugly to keep my beverage warm and spill-resistant! All that, and it’s microwavable .

My friends used to say that they envy me coz I’m Ms. Beauty and Brain. I don’t disagree with them :haha: but it helps me evaluate myself if what they say is true. About beauty, I believe that everyone has it’s own definition of beauty. Anyway, let’s focus on my “BRAIN” .

I’m a studious-type of student so it helps a lot why I excel academically. I loved doing  my own thing. I enjoy puzzles and games. Anything that stretches my mind interests me. I’m a quiet person-often lost in my own thoughts but I’m not nerd. Though I avidly pursues intellectual activities and scientific endeavours, I still know how to engage in social and conventional activities. I enjoyed competing  impromptu speech, Quiz Bee, spelling contest, declamation and Parliamentary Procedure Contest .

In elementary I graduated  first honors in our class and was awarded the “Excellence Award” for garnering the highest score in National Elementary Assessment Test (NEAT) in the province. In high school, I was the Valedictorian but I didn’t enjoy the scholarships offered to me by UP Diliman, MSU-Marawi and DOST for a reason :cry2: . I was stucked in our province to finish my college degree. I graduated with the highest scholastic ratings but the college didn’t award me “Magna Cum Laude” though my ratings qualified for that because I have one 2.25 (80-84%)rating :wth: . In our college all grades should be 2.00 as the lowest rating to be awarded with those Latin honors :grrr: . Some says, I should have fight for my right because the professor admitted her mistakes. It should be 2.00 because she knew that I’m a scholar  I deserve much better grade. She told me she’ll settle my grade when I represented the college and CARAGA Region for the 20th Super Quiz Bee Bowl at Subic Bay, Philippines. After the contest I was told that she couldn’t changed my grades because it’s already passed to CHED office and other blahs :question2: .  Anyway, I’m happy that I graduated with flying colors :rainbow: :yay: . I didn’t regret never having those latin honors. At least people will not expect much from me. I believe that in everything God has a purpose and that incident made me more humble before God and my fellowmen.

It was also during my college days that I was forced into joining pageant to represent our department. It was because of my wise thoughts and witty remarks during the Q and A portion that I gained the favor from the judges and crowned me as the “Miss Campus” :strawberry: .

Do you know that I have so much fun thinking, dreaming, and planning. I hardly have time for friends but I’m so grateful with blogging because it’s not impossible to make friends in just a click :thumbsup: .
