I used to have a 32-25-36 measurements. I know a 32 bust size is considered big…only for pygmies .

Today’s topic at Girls Talk is a bit controversial . Do I really need to divulge my vital statistics for the world to see? . Well, I think there’s no harm in it. It’s just that hubby is suggesting that lessening carbohydrates in my diet will be good for me (indirectly, he wants to see me back in my old sexy shape ).

Before I could tell you about my vital statistics and present weight, I run first to the mall to buy a measuring tape and check my weight on the weight scaling machine to get the exact weight . I know that the pregnancy I had a year ago <del datetime="2010-03-04T01:49:31+00:00">and the aging process</del> has an inevitable impact on my body shape. My hormone levels affect the fat distribution on my body and concentrations of estrogen influences where my body fat is stored.

To find my bust measurement I place the tape measure around the fullest part of my chest, under my arms. I make sure that the tape measure remains parallel to the floor. The length indicated on the tape measure is my bust measurement. To get more accurate measurements, I am in my bra and underwear. Do I need to be naked to get the exact measurement ?

Bust is 34.

To find my waist measurement I wrap the tape measure around my natural waistline. I keep the tape comfortably loose. The length indicated on the tape measure is my waist measurement.

Guess what? It’s 28!

To get my hip measurement I wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of my body between my waist and my knees. This is approximately 8 inches below my waist. I make sure that the tape measure remains parallel to the floor. The length indicated on the tape measure is my hip measurement.

and it’s….37!

Oh my, I’m already 34-28-37 officially today! I weigh 48 kilogram and my friend said that it’s still an ideal weight for a petite lady like me whose 63 inches tall (about 5 feet and 1 1/2 inches). That’s quite a relief!

the latest photo of me taken last Saturday (February 27, 2010)

I hope my boldness in revealing my vital statistics, weight and height will please my Marce Niko. Oh before I forget, don’t forget to greet me on April 25 for my 29th birthday .

Tip for the day:

The female body occurs in a range of shapes. The female figure is typically narrower at the waist than at the bust and hips, and usually has one of four basic shapes: banana, pear, apple, or hourglass.

It’s up to you to decide what body shape do I belong .

A pink template never fails to catch my attention. I love pink and all that love pink are lovers of beauty like Bambie, the author of My Thoughts, My Heart, My Turf. This site houses her thoughts and hobbies and how she spends her time. Browsing her archives way back March 2009, you get a glimpse of the the different sites that pay you for your valuable opinions like MakeMoneyKindgdom, or MMK for short, KASTLE IN THE KLAUD- the paying forum where members get paid to talk about everything under the sun, and many more paid-to-post forum sites . Not only that, she posted almost the other sites where you can earn money. I haven’t been introduced to most of the sites where she earned. Take a look to her posts in from March to September 2009, there you will view tons of paying sites! It’s now made clear to me…making money online is the author’s hobby (correct me if I’m wrong ). She’s posting her personal experiences on how she earned and even posted some snapshots of her earnings too!

Recently, she’s looking for contest sponsors of her upcoming blog contest. If you’re interested, kindly visit here and leave your pledges HERE.

On my leisure time (which I rarely have) , I usually read, watch movie and read entertainment sections to amuse myself. Recently, I discovered Beng’s Entertainment Spree. It’s an entertainment blog that covers topics on the latest in movies,tv,music, and just overall interesting happenings in the entertainment world. There’s also a dash of personal experiences every now and then like her first encounter of Piolo Pascual (Philippine actor) and a slight accident she had during her driving lessons.

I admire the author’s way to keep her site up-to-date with the latest news and gossip and movies that are coming. She writes in simple, direct and smooth-flowing language as if she’s really conversing in front of me while reading her posts. Though it’s in a simple way but you can’t deny that the author is intellectual and is really knowledgeable about her entertaining topics.

Maybe because of my poor eyesight, I had a hard time reading the author’s post. Maybe it would be better if the font color is something bright so that it will be visible against it’s maroon-colored background. Other than that , there’s no other problem of the site. It’s presentation is fine and uncluttered. Navigation is very easy and would be much better if the author has a “About Me” page so that new readers like me will caught a glimpse of who the author is except for her name.

Upon my first visit to A Woman Remembers, I’m reminded of my first-ever layout from FinalSense.com- a yellow template with a butterfly image. It reminded me of those few months of being a newbie in the blogging world.

A Woman Remembers is one-of-a-kind personal blog of Czaroma, mom who treasure her sweet and once-in-a lifetime memories. I’m curious of the photo thumbnails on the left sidebar and I was led to each stories- very memorable moments. The author got the chance to be featured at Working Mom’s magazine May 2009 issue’s makeover session! How I wish I could have too! I couldn’t help but grab some snapshots for you to drool on :

Isn’t she pretty? She looks like a professional model sporting the wardrobes. Not only that she appears on magazine but also had a stint for MomWorks Dress for Success Segment. MomWorks is a 30-minute show hosted by celebrity mom Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan. The show focuses on the struggles and triumphs of the woman as a wife, a mother and career woman. It’s a one-stop resource show for that inspires every mom.

There are lots of stories in these site worth remembering like how their family’s video entry for Nido Fortified You’re My #1 Video Contest won, her son Brent’s pictures that got published in Working Mom Magazine’s “What I Want To Be” theme and in Manila Bulletin’s Birthday Corner (February 14, 2009) and about her and her sisters opportunity to attend the lavish and glitzy 80th birthday party of former first lady, Madame Imelda Marcos at the grand ballroom of Hotel Sofitel to just mention a few.

A day with A Woman Remembers will bring you to experiences of a woman that knows how to dress stylishly based on workplace culture and lifestyle and whose family always appear on magazines!

There are many blogs with great information and one of them is Pinay Mommy Online- a personal blog that caters the mixed thoughts of a stay-at-home mom. In fact, her article “Baby Wearing Bella on a Baby Sling” was published in a local newspaper in the Philippines .

The author, Ruby, used to be branch sales head of a leading direct selling company. She made a big risk to become what she wanted for seven years since she got married- to be a stay-at-home mom on February of 2008 by resigning. Now, she’s a happy mom to three children named Micah, David and Bella (her children’s photos are on her sidebar, by the way). She’s not just a stay-at-home mom. She’s working online too and maintaining 13 blogs with their own domains! That’s incredible!

If you have any questions about earning online especially on tips and tricks on registering your blogs to Payu2blog.com, I could recommend Pinay Mommy Online for you. Recently, she’s able to buy her newest cell phone LG GW300 out from PayU2B earnings. She confessed that it’s the biggest pay-out she had.

One more important thing, Pinay Mommy Online in partnership with Mom’s Hosting, offers you the most affordable blog hosting services in the market today. You can personally host your blogs with as for as low as $1.00 to $3.00 per month. This is an ideal blog hosting service for first time Wordpress users or for blogger’s on a budget. This is ideal for ME!

Don’t you know that lovers of beauty favors pink? I love pink and so does the author of It’s Not Always About Me…but most of the time it is. Only little facts about the author’s personal life shared in her “About Me” page except that she started blogging anonymously to venture out some of her frustrations. She wanted to express herself without bothering what others would think. And eventually blogging has been part of her that each and every post that she made reflects the real person she is. This made me remember that I started blogging on a site where only me and will always be me who can read the posts in there . Let’s meet the author’s alter ego- YUUKI! Her love for books makes her an information maven. I tell you she had tons of books and she can read an average of one book in a day and can’t stop reading even in office (she’s an expat working in Dubai, by the way). I couldn’t help but grins of this confession because I could relate with her. I’m a voracious reader too! Spending time on blogs with “voracious- reader” authors won’t be boring because they have so much stuffs to share.

Why not visit It’s Not Always About Me…but most of the time it is today and discover surprises. I’m sure she has something to share to you about “Can you keep a secret?”

Where the moon shines
Is where the darkness lives
Where the moon shines

This is a part of the lyrics “Where the moon shines” by Obadiah Parker. Have you heard about it?

Today, let’s feature another female blogger who’s behind “Where the Moon Shines“. I wonder if she sings the song above ? The author carries the pseudonym “verabear” which she derived from the pet name her grandfather (Papa) gave to her. She started actively using it back in college while thinking of the best username for her very first Yahoo email – a username that she still maintain for 10 years.

The author’s layout is plain back. It makes me consider that she’s conservative, serious and conventional. Her site exudes mystery, sexiness, and sophistication. What would you expect from the author’s site? She will share to us her stories. She confessed that she wrote stories though none were finished yet. Just as much as she loved to read, she found that she enjoyed telling them too. She also loves photography that’s why most of her posts uses pictures wherever possible. A picture is worth a thousand words – and lesser time too! Other categories of her posts includes her dreams, family, church, digiscrapping, kids, health and many more! This blogger produces quality content. She never forgets to bring her personality to her writing and this is what makes her post authentic and genuine.

What welcomes me when I first visit Jena Isle’s Random Thoughts is the plainness of the blog’s design (its header consist of the blog title and tagline only…no images at all) and an interesting topic about Tips on Buying a Computer System to whom the author credited to someone named Nikes Alviz, her guest blogger of the day. Reading this post makes me remember the time before when we faced a dilemma of deciding what to buy-a laptop or a desktop? We opted for desktop. Desktop computers are appropriate to people who usually works most of the time at home, people who needs their computer turned on for a long period and people who need powerful computing needs like video and photo editing, workstations and gaming. Other topics of this blog revolves around love, health, writings, education and life.

The author is an allied medical professional, handling Clinical Chemistry, Endocrinology, Clinical Toxicology and Physiology subjects in the University where she’s presently connected. This challenging endeavor and busy schedule in the academe doesn’t stop her to pursue her dream to be a writer. She writes whenever she had the time, during breaks, after work and even during a kidney break in class. She had some short stories and poems published in local magazines but she said she still have not written a book. I know she will in the near future.

Her background gives us an insight that what kind of a writer she is. Her articles articles have good flow, eye-catching content and the language. She maintained good grammar and sentences are graceful and translucent. She’s well-informed about her subjects. She maintained 9 blogs amidst her demanding schedules . She writes paid posts for the other blogs, but she doesn’t blog to earn. She blogs to be able to write. For her, earning is just the icing on the cake. She writes for Helium.com, Associated Content, and Triond.com. These are all writing sites that pay per view of your article. She finds writing for Helium more challenging as topics are provided and you got to compete with prolific and established writers.

Join the author in her quest to explore the various concepts of arts, sciences and education- her three interesting worlds!
